- The questions are in the same order as played in the recording.
- The recording is played only once, but gives you time in between questions.
- The recording is played for 25 to 30 minutes, after which you get 10 minutes to transfer your answers to your answer sheet.
- All 40 answers carry one mark each, there is no negative marking but correct spellings are mandatory or you will lose marks.
- The second module is reading.
- It comprises of excerpts from articles from various sources in the form of passages.
- It is a one hour test and there is no extra time for transferring answers so you are advised to keep doing the same as you complete each passage.
- There are a total of 3 passages to be attempted. Each passage has 13 to 14 questions with a sum of 40 questions in all.
- You should ideally spend 20 min on each passage.
- The objective questions are of various types.
- You can choose the sequence of passages to be attempted as per your comfort.

- Task 2 is the Essay section which has to cover a minimum of 250 words in response to questions or arguments on a General topic.
- Spend a maximum of 40 minutes on the essay.
- Planning your essay or making points before commencing to write is strongly recommended.

- Speaking exam usually takes place within 7 days of your LRW exam.
- It is a face to face conversation which is evaluated by a certified examiner.
